well, it is finally time... I leave tomorrow morning for Freed! I am kinda nervous, but REALLY excited. Have a good school year :)

| summer is going by so fast! so much has been going on. okay im lying, pretty much I've just been laying out, shopping, going to church, and working at Cracker Barrel! but Saturday was so much fun. After work at 1, Josh surprised me and took me to the RC/Moonpie Festival in Bell Buckle! Then he wanted me to show him our farm out there, that was so much fun. He is genuinely interested in my family and our history and the stuff I love, I am so blessed. Then we went to the movies to watch Tokyo Drift (the 3rd Fast & the Furious movie) because he is obsessed with that kind of stuff, especially drifting. Tonight after work, we're gonna plan out our schedules for this semester because on Thursday morning we leave to go to Freed for Early Registration! I am really excited. I can't believe I'll be there in a couple months! Other than that there's not a whole lot going on. I hope your summer is going by great and that you stay safe! | |
so a ton of stuff has happened but for some reason I dont really feel comfortable writing it all on here. God has been working in my life in so many amazing ways-- the biggest of which is my change in college. Josh and I will be going to Freed-Hardeman next semester. I'm so excited, but still in complete awe of the way things have worked out. God has shown me, once again, that He is in control. Josh graduates next week and I'm so happy for him. It's such a huge step in his life, and in our life. Bigger & better things to come. :) Camp Hy-Lake is next week also! We have our meeting tonight, I'm so excited to see whos in my cabin so I can start getting stuff to decorate with. Some of my favorite memories are at camp, and Josh will be with me this year, so it can only be better!!! I love you all so much. I really hope your summer is amazing, stay safe and be good because I know there are a LOT of temptations out there. Stay strong!! <3 | |
Well, Banquet was a much-needed awesome time with Josh! It was kinda weird without my friends there- I felt so old for some reason!- but, I enjoyed it overall. And I definitely lovvvvvvvved getting my hair & makeup done (even though my hair turned out heinous!!) but, I'm that much closer to being DONE with my freshman year of college!! (I am done with classes on WEDNESDAY!!! Holy cow!!!!!!!!) and even though this summer will be hectic w/summer classes here @lipscomb, work, etc, I think it will be a lot of fun. especially to have all my friends back home!!! I think I've used more exclamation marks on here than in my whole life. Well, have a fabulous week! | |
so, life is super super stressful with figuring out where Josh & I are going to school next year, my schedule, huge English paper on something I don't even understand, etc. but I'm still making it and that's a blessing!! I have fashion show practice taking up almost every night the next few weeks, but I'm modeling Betsy Johnson (in Green Hills Mall) so I'm really excited about that. My friends are amazing (and I miss a lot of them VERY VERY much!) and my relationship with Josh is sooo wonderful, and summer is almost here so again--I find myself feeling guilty for complaining about anything. I really really need to quit being so busy and make time for God, that is especially hard for me right now but it's important than ever! Jr/Sr Banquet is in a couple weeks also which is cool I guess. It definitely won't be as fun as the past years cause my friends won't be there, but I do love dressing up so I look forward to that. (my dress is pretty much finished and I LOVE it! red is like my new favorite color) annnnnnd the weather is getting warm enough to play tennis, slowly but surely! I love you!!
